Villa Bahagia - complete description
The villa is located in one of the most sought after area in Bali, in Umalas. Close are some 20 popular restaurants such as Rumours, La Trattoria, Living Room, Hu'u bar in addition to galleries, spas and boutique shops. The beach and the famous Ku De Ta restaurant are 10 minutes away. Within 20 minutes drive is the airport, the challenging surf beaches in Canggu, the picturesque temple site of Tanah Lot and the acclaimed Nirwana golf course. Great sense of privacy, but so conveniently close to everything you wish to do during your holiday.
The villa was completed in 2007 and is in a mixed Balinese / modern style. One main building on two floors, with an open living room and dining room and kitchen downstairs, and two master bedrooms and upstairs two more bedrooms. Every bedroom has en-suite bathroom with bath tube and an open shower. The tropical garden includes areas for relaxing, terraces, sundecks with sun-loungers around the swimming pool and the villa has one big gazebo with large sofas and also one bale with day bed nearby the pool. The villa is surrounded with high walls for your privacy.
The villa was designed by the acclaimed architect Ross Franklin from New Zealand, who was honoured in many decoration and architecture magazines in promoting contemporary Balinese architecture in its proper way (like the famous Avatara in Tanah Lot). The style of the villa is contemporary and elegant; a group of eight or ten people can stay at the house, very comfortably, without encroaching on each others' space. It was specifically designed to maximise the wonderful panoramic views, and offers the ultimate in private luxury for those who seek tranquillity combined with a high standard of service.
Villa Bahagia Accommodation
Built on a 1000 square meters of land, the villa surface is 350m2 and includes four main bedrooms (8-10 people). Two en-suite bedrooms with big double beds and two en-suite bedrooms with two single beds that can be used as king size beds. One of them has an office that can be used as a single bedroom (additional for nanny or kids). With its very big private swimming pool (14meters), this villa is ideal villa for just two couples with kids or four couples (up to 9-10 people).The light and airy bedrooms also feature built-in wardrobes, very trendy light natural teak furniture, timber floors, picture windows and large sliding glass doors. One of the bedrooms upstairs has a romantic balcony and stunning views of the rice fields and the other one its own big terrace. The downstairs bedrooms are each complemented by overlooking the gardens, one of them being all closed with its private garden. Each of the en-suite bathrooms with its terrazzo fixtures has its own distinct characteristics. The 14 x 6 meters pool runs the width of the garden at the top end. A thatched 'bale', a traditional Balinese relaxation pavilion, is situated on one side of the pool.

Villa Bahagia boasts its spacious and wide open living & dining area facing large green lawn and its swimming pool. Big sofas with lot of pillows are placed on a perfect position. Dining table comfortably serves 10 persons at once. While having meal, guests still may look at the beauty of the garden.The spacious kitchen, where the staff will prepare a wide range of delicious meals from an innovative menu, is fully equipped with wooden fitted cupboards and a modern stainless steel equipment.
